My Endorsements - GO VOTE ON TUESDAY!!!
Presidential Nominee
Democratic Candidate: Barack Obama. The candidates I prefer have dropped out. If you can't bear Obama, consider a protest vote for Kucinich, who has left the race but is an amazing progressive.
Republican Candidate: None
Green Candidate: Cynthia McKinney
California Propositions
Prop. 91 - Transportation Funds: NO. This proposition is made irrelevant by last vote's Prop 1A.
Prop. 92 - Community College Tuition: YES. This proposition will help make community college affordable by all.
Prop. 93 - Term Limits: YES, WITH RESERVATIONS. Good for CA in the long run, but will keep Perata and NuNez, two crappy and power-hungry senators in office for six more years.
Props 94-97 - Indian Gaming Casinos - NO, WITH RESERVATIONS. Though the native americans deserve a break this is not the way forward. The casinos do not have to obey environmental standards, american taxpayers will lose money and the smaller tribes will be cheated.
Oakland Propositions
NO ON ALL EXCEPT G. These are ill-thought-out, though many of them are for good causes. G on the other hand is VITAL. It is NOT a tax hike, but instead will maintain taxes at their current level in order to maintain school funding. |

Shit wish you had posted this sooner....my dad thought we would GET money form the 94-97 so we voted yes..crap....
It's OK. Those will probably pass with little resistance anyways. And they're not all bad, so it's the least worrisome thing to have second thoughts about!
